How to cancel Hotstar Subscription
Depending on the device you have access which could be an iPhone, Android phone or a laptop, please refer to the relevant steps. I have mentioned the steps for each of these devices.
Note: Try to avoid canceling your subscription mid-way, as you will lose out on the remaining days for which you have already paid. Cancel your subscription when you have a day left for your payment, so you have fully utilized your paid amount.
How to cancel Hotstar Subscription using laptop ( Hotstar official website )
To cancel the subscription using Hotstar website follow the steps mentioned.
Step 1: Log in to the Hotstar Official website with your account details. Once logged in successfully, go to your account section by clicking on the user icon at the top right corner of the site and then click on My Account.
Step 2: Click on the Cancel Membership link on the My Account page.
Step 3: Click on Confirm Cancellation.
Step 4: Wait for the confirmation, once canceled you will be notified about it.
Note: Once you click on “Confirm Cancellation“, there is no way to revert the process immediately. You will again have to register for a premium account.
How to cancel Hotstar Subscription on Android
The Hotstar App is available on Google play store. Once you have downloaded the application to your phone, launch it and follow the steps below.
Step 1: Tap on the hamburger icon. It will show a list of options.
Step 2: Tap on My Accounts from the menu option.
Step 3: Tap on “Cancel Membership”
Step 4: Tap on “Yes, Confirm cancellation”. If you press “No, I have changed my mind will cancel the operation”, then your cancellation request will not be completed.
Step 5: Once the cancellation is successful, A confirmation message will show.
